This page details changes and enhancements which have been made to the Infocare system for the current version of the software.

New Features  

Introduction

Infocare version 2.82 contains some very minor changes and enhancements, however it is important that you read and understand how these changes will affect your service.

Changes & Enhancements

1.      Notice Board

A "Tip of the day" is now displayed with other messages on the notice board. This "Tip" contains useful hints and reminders on how to make your life easier while using Infocare. 

2.    Notice Board

Reminders relating to RS7 or ECE Returns are displayed on the notice board for a week before the return is due, and for the following 3 months if the return is not submitted. The reminder is not displayed once the return has been submitted.

3.    Reports - Finance Reports - Funding - RS7

RS7's may now be submitted electronically to the Ministry of Education. Users simply need to click the "Submit RS7 to MOE" Button. The RS7 may still be printed for your own records.

4     Reports - Finance Reports - Funding - Funding Hours

In order to conform, to the electronic RS7, cells in this report that are highlighted on orange indicate a warning and those highlighted in red indicate an error.

5.      Utilities – Download Files

For all future electronic submissions of the ECE Return old RS61) or the RS7, a copy of the submission will be retained on the Download Files screen of a maximum period of one year. You are able to use this file to view the submission or to print a copy of the submission.

6.      Reports - Child Reports - Sign in Sheets

For emergency closures, we recommend that centres mark all children as absent. To facilitate this, there is now a "Mark all Absent" button at the bottom of the screen. 

7.      Billing - Batch Receipts

The importing of .csv files from banks and Xero has now been made easier. Users are no longer required to save the .csv file with a particular name, Users are now able to select the bank that they use from a drop down list and then click the "Import File" button. 

8.    Reports - Child Reports - Child Details

The following fields have been added to the "Print Options" list :-

Primary Contact 1 Relationship

Primary Contact 2 Address

Primary Contact 2 Relationship

9.    Billing - Accounts Processing - Receipts

Payment methods listed below have been added to the available options:-

ELP - Early Learning Project

Pay Express - Payment Express

10.    Reports - Child Reports - Roll Reports

For Home Based services, users are now able to select the Educators from the categories drop down list. This allows users to print any of the roll reports for specific educators.

11.    Reports - Group Reports

There are 10 new reports available under the group reports. These are:

Weekly Attended Times

Weekly Attended Hours

Attended Hours

Home-Based Weekly Booked Times

12. Child - add/modify

The Ministry of Education ELI system have specified some changes to Languages as follows:-

Other African is  no longer required and will be mapped to Bantu

Chinese language no longer required and will be mapped to Sinitic

Other European Language is no longer required and will be mapped to West German

Other Middle Eastern Language is no longer required and will be mapped to Semetic

Other Pacific Island language is no longer required and will be mapped to Central Pacific

Other South East Asian is no longer required and will be mapped to Mon-Khmer

Tetum(Timor) is no longer required and will be mapped to Pidgins and Creoles

 

New Features 

1.      Credit Card Payments

A new credit card or online transfer facility has been introduced. This will allow parents to pay their account online by clicking on a link on the invoice or statement. Credit card payments makes use of the Infocare Parent Portal login for parents.
